ARKANSAS GOING WHOLE HOG IN THE MARIJUANA MOVEMENT Arkansas may seem like an underdog in the legalization of Marijuana movement, but what people fail to realize is that the state is one of few states that allow the initiative process. What that means is that the citizens of Arkansas can initiate new laws and then petition the people to have laws put on the ballot for a vote of the people. Surely if change is going to come it will come by the people where marijuana is concerned. This has shown to be true in every case where Marijuana was legalized. The state of the Razorback Hogs are not playing piggy toes either they are going whole hog in the legalization movement-- No baby steps for them they're putting on walking shoes and their aim is to be the first in the south to legalize-- armed with nothing but the good book on their side an oppressed people needing jobs and needing that boost to their economy. The oppositions aren't many and the popularity of legalization is growing in the Natural State. Just what did God say about the herbs of the field-- the bible says, "he saw it was Good" and Arkansans are starting to see it too. Being the first to legalize Marijuana in the south will not only add a bit more revenue to the state, but being first will increase tourism to the state. Where there is tourist there is money-- lots and lots of money. Not only will tourism increase in the beautiful picturesque mountains of the Ozark, but new home and land development will also increase. It's a win win situation for the people of Arkansas and they have everthing to gain and nothing to loose!
